When I hike in the mountains, I feel the timeless power, presence, and dignity of nature that is beyond any possible attempt at imitation. I experience an overwhelming sense of the Eternal Creator’s presence. And back in my studio, I depend on that presence to inspire a wordless language of strokes, color, textures, and proportions to express the essence of who I am.
